One whole month dedicated to MEN

Oh yes lovers.

you read it right.

For the entire month of October I am sending an email every day sharing with you many aspects of men, for the men and for those who adore men.

Women are very straight forward and loud about what they want from you.

Calling you to be warriors bold, present, strong, truthful and fearless in ways we cannot be.

But what is that YOU want.

We are getting better at asking this and listening as a culture.

I cant buy into the constant demonization of men. 

How we often use the label of “toxic masculinity” and the new wave of a population of men that are “Narcissists”

Yes.

I am all for accountability.

And yes we are coming out of an era of thousands of yrs where women have been oppressed by men. And it is still an issue in so many areas of life.

Yet the above are a result of a culture and society that has produced this type of behaviour.

the statistic clearly show how deeply men are suffering also.

Suicide rates that way heavily on more men than women and drug + alcohol addictions that are destroying whole communities and soon to be nations.

It is fucking scary.

In no way does this condone the behaviour.

Yet I am so much more interested in honouring the parts that we want.

Focusing on being accountable for where we create environments where men do not feel safe, seen, heard and accepted and creating relationships and homes where men are celebrated and held to their highest version of them selves.

And this is why I created Cocktober Inside of The Pleasure Studio.

IN Johns video I shared above her speaks to the “haze of guilt’ that has come from the oppression of women has resulted in men having lost their capacity to powerfully ask for what they want.

You want to be celebrated for the fact we are different.  Men and women.

You want less where often we as women always want more.

You want more vulnerability. More of our fear & heartache and not for us to disconnect.

You want to feel how deeply we want your love.

You want to be our hero.

You want to know we can trust you.

You need your women to surrender to you. Heart, life and body.

You want to feel the universe through our body.

You want us to slow down how we speak and move around you.

You don't want us to settle for our bullshit.

You need to hear what you are doing right. And to hear it the same energy that we often will tell you when something is wrong.

You want to love us well.

You want your difference to be celebrated.
